Meryem Kübra Şıvgın specializes in competition law, compliance, commercial contracts, and personal data protection, with nearly twenty years of professional experience. Her background includes advisory experience at an international law firm as well as serving as Legal Affairs Manager within one of Türkiye’s leading telecommunications groups. This dual perspective enables her to approach legal matters not merely from a legal standpoint, but also through the lens of business models, operational processes, and corporate risk management.
Kübra advises national-scale holdings and corporations on competition law investigations, settlement procedures, compliance program structuring, and data protection processes. She represents clients before the Turkish Competition Authority and provides strategic guidance on the effective integration of internal compliance mechanisms into day-to-day business operations.
Her practice areas include competition law investigations, merger control filings, vertical and horizontal agreements, dominance assessments, the design and implementation of compliance programs, dawn raid preparedness, Turkish data protection law (KVKK) compliance processes, VERBIS registrations, commercial contracts, telecommunications and IT law, as well as corporate governance and risk assessment.
